With Project Pegasus students build an RV-12. A RV-12 is a type of airplane and parts and instructions are being bought from Vans Aircraft. Students have been working on this project for 3 years now. I decided to work on Project Pegasus with my last year of high school. This year we built the wings and put together the tail cone and fuselage.
This year one class split up and build and left and right wing. The another split up and built left and right flaperon.

Working on the plane was one of the best experiences of my life. I didn't really know how to do anything for the plane but our mentors helped us and I got the hang of it overtime. I learned how to use different tools I have never even heard of. It was a great learning experience of anyone who wants to do something with mechanical engineering.
